Graduates of the BSc (Business Information System) degree programme combine business knowledge with technical skills and are qualified for a range of jobs including business analyst and IT strategy manager.
This programme is designed to give students the opportunity to:
- Gain appropriate knowledge and skills base to pursue a career managing and developing information systems in a contemporary business context
- Gain an understanding of the operational, strategic and practical issues in information systems currently relevant to small, medium and large enterprises
- Learn and work both independently and within groups
- Be aware of the management, economic, legal, social, professional and ethical issues relating to information systems
- Develop the necessary study skills and knowledge to pursue further study
Entry Requirements
- A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
- STM Degree Foundation.
- IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
- Mature students with relevant work experience will be considered.
Applicants who do not satisfy any of the above requirements, may be required to do an STM Degree Foundation Course prior to the commencement of the BSc (Hons) Programme.
