The HP Indigo Press 3500/5000 accelerated operator course focuses on the concepts, procedures, and practices required to operate the HP Indigo Press 3500/5000 safely and effectively. This three-day class builds on the experience of current HP Indigo press operators focusing on those areas of operation that are unique to the HP Indigo Press 3500/5000. Topics covered include operator routines, safety precautions, care and preventive maintenance, paper transport, handling of consumables, control of color, maintenance of the press, and troubleshooting common operator level printing problems.

Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of HP Indigo Press 3000, 3050, or Indigo UltraStream 2000 operation training or
  • Received on the job training and has a minimum of three months of experience operating the HP Indigo Press.

 

Audience
Training is structured specifically for operators who are currently operating the HP Indigo Press 3000, 3050, Indigo UltraStream 2000 and will be assigned to operate the HP Press 3500/5000.

Course Objectives
By the end of this training the operator will be able to:

  • Understand the safety and disposal procedures
  • Identify the parts and their function in the HP Indigo Press 3500/5000
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance routines
  • Perform consumable replacement successfully
  • Utilize the press software to print files

  • Successfully print on multiple substrates
